Skytec Contracting Canada is Port Alberni’s leading Roofing, Siding, Soffit, Gutter and Custom Flashing Company. We are currently seeking skilled Roofing Foreman that are looking to grow and invest in our ever expanding Company.
Skytec Contracting are looking for hard working, reliable leaders to run and supervisor a crew that have a focus on team work and also being able to work independently. Candidates must have extremely strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate with business owner and crew and be able to give clear instructions as well as a passion for Roofing, Siding, Soffit and Guttering with a strong focus on helping to grow our business and taking pride in their work and outcome of job.
Duties include:
* Good manual dexterity and an eye for detail
* Candidate should be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
* Must be comfortable working at heights
* Install, repair or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt, metal and shingle
* Install, repair or replace roofing system using standing seam metal, asphalt, shingle and two ply torch-on
* Install sheet metal flashings
* Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
* Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
* Set up scaffolding and ladders to provide safe access to roofs
Must have Drivers Licence and must have experience in Metal Roofing.
