Sales Contractor – Alberni App

Overview: MyAlberni is committed to helping residents and tourists discover the best of things to see and do in the Alberni Valley. With our flagship product, My Alberni App, we have successfully helped residents and tourists navigate the Alberni Valley for over a year. We are locally owned and operated here in the Alberni Valley.

We are seeking independent sales contractors to help better represent our community on My Alberni App. This is an ideal position for self-motivated resident who wants to make a living doing something good, while creating community benefits for all to enjoy. This could be your role on My Alberni App.

Anyone is welcome to apply for this position! Technical experience is absolutely not required. MyAlberni App is simple and easy to use, and free to download.

Duties: Job Position – Independent Sales Contractor:

Sell a range of advertising goods and services, to business and commercial establishments in domestic locations. MyAlberni App products can be viewed at shop.myalberni.ca

Perform the following duties:

• promote sales products to existing clients
• identify and solicit potential clients
• assess clients' needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services
• provide input into custom packages where goods or services must be tailored to suit clients' needs
• develop reports and proposals as part of sales presentation to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
• talk to clients after sale to solve problems and to provide ongoing support
• may train customers' staff in the operation and use of MyAlberni App
• may conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
