This is a part-time, contract position. The duration of the project is nine months, running from mid-Sept 2014 to May 2015.

A commitment to trauma informed practice, and sensitivity to the social realities of youth whose life experiences include violence, substance misuse and mental health concerns is imperative in this role.  The successful candidate has a strong adherence to ethics, and a keen understanding of the theory, principles and best practices for child and youth care counselling and youth substance misuse. Knowledge of the Youth Justice System and the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
