Full time position at Walk-In Clinic Pharmacy at 3949 Maple Way, in West Coast Urgent Care Clinic. Experience is almost necessary as this is a fast paced job that encompasses all areas of pharmacy practice: billing, inventory, filling, blister scheduling and faxing, as well as maintenance.
Start date is ASAP
Duties include:
-Scheduling and packing weekly and monthly blister packs, filling prescriptions.
-Ability to learn dispensary software (Nexxys RX)
-Greeting patients pleasantly in person and by phone; answering questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
-Maintaining pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing and returning outdated drugs.
-Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by organizing and tidying, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
-Organizing medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities
-Maintaining records by recording and filing physicians' orders and prescriptions.
-Running the till processing prescription charges and ensuring proper billing
-Scheduling and packing weekly and monthly blister packs
-Ability to learn dispensary software (Nexxys RX)

Successful applicant ideally would be experienced in the field of dispensary operations and pharmacy day to day tasks, with prior work experience in a pharmacy.
