This job is in an insurance claims office supporting two licensed claims adjusters.

Duties Include: Telephone duties, mail handling, filing, scheduling, computer data entry, proof reading, document handling, emailing, spreadsheet creation, and office management are required. Punctuality and organizational skills are important.

 

Qualifications 
  • Microsoft Office- advanced skills in Word and Excel
  • Strong language skills with excellent spelling and grammar abilities
  • The ability to grasp complicated concepts quickly
  • Proofreading skills in producing professional/technical reports
  • Self motivation is required
  • Intermediate level mathematics skills essential
  • A knowledge of Dragon Speak an asset
  • Digital transcription skills an asset but not essential
  • A working knowledge of liability, property, and marine insurance would be advantageous but not critical.
