We are searching for enthusiastic outdoor experienced professionals to join our team.

WestCoast Wild Ziplines is located in the magnificent remote Ha’uukmin Tribal Park, traditional Tla-O-Qui-Aht territory, which borders the Clayoquot Plateau Provincial Park, Vancouver Island.  The Zipline site is located on highway 4, approx. half way between Port Alberni and Ucluelet. The site is in a wilderness setting and has basic amenities such as water, toilets and is powered only by a generator.

 Zipline Guides and drivers are critical to the success of the WestCoast Wild experience. You are responsible for your guest’s safety, trust, delivery of the local history and culture, entertaining the guests, site up keep and maintenance.

Suitable candidates will meet or exceed these requirements by having the right mix of technical skills, confidence and humor and must be willing to travel to work each day.  We need established Local's from the area, who have their own reliable vehicle and place to live.

Comprehensive Zipline Operator and Driver training will be provided. 

Qualifications 

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Current OFA Level 3, Wilderness First Aid or higher
  • B.C. Class 4 unrestricted drivers Licence
  • Training and experience in working at heights
  • Knowledge of basic climbing equipment, and knots, belaying, rappelling.
  • Experience leading groups
  • Strong physical stamina and conditioning - You'll be outside sweating ALOT!
  • Sound judgment and decision making skills
  • Photography and computer experience
  • Experience in building a major asset
  • Own reliable vehicle
