The summer Family Literacy Worker will work with the Literacy Alberni Society (LAS) to develop and implement a number of summer family and youth literacy projects in the Alberni Valley. The position may also be responsible for working with volunteers and will assist with our annual Raise-a-Reader Fundraising campaign as well as other projects.
As this position is fudned through a Service Canada grant, applicant must satisfy the following requirements: 18 - 30 years old, Canadian citizen, have just completed a full year of post-secondary education; planning to return to full-time college/university in the fall.
