Sechart Lodge is now hiring for the upcoming summer of 2015. Sechart Lodge is a 9,000 sq. ft. remote wilderness kayak lodge that caters to kayakers, fishermen, and divers from around the world. We are located in Barkley Sound, approximately 1 mile from the Broken Group Islands in the Pacific Rim National Park.
We are currently looking for cooks / housekeepers and outdoor staff.
Positions are from approximately May 1 - Sept. 30, 2015.
Cooks' responsibilities include meal preparations for up to 50 people (buffet style), as well as light housekeeping duties.
Outdoor staff are responsible for cleaning and distributing kayaks to guests and campers, as well as transportation by 200 passenger ship to and from Port Alberni / Ucluelet to the lodge.
We are looking for people who are upbeat, friendly team players, and also have an interest in the food, beverage, and hospitality industry.
Food Safe and Serving-It-Right are preferred.
